Would love to see tall canisters for storing things in the kitchen like coffee, sugar, everyday things that needs daily opening and resealing. I tried the reusable bags and the plastic zippers dont last long

I am not alone in being disappointed in the design and quality of the FoodSaver containers for marinade.

I was able to attach the hose accessory but cannot get it back off. I wish you would explain how to use it rather than just what it can be used for.

does the hose come with the machine?

I cannot get this to work. The attachment to the physical machine does not lock in securely. Waste of money for the accessories

Mine goes for 3 seconds and then immediately goes to seal without taking any air out of the bag. I assume somethings is clogged inside the unit where it thinks it evacuated all the air or it's just a bad air pressure sensor, but can't figure out an easy fix for it.

How can you make this so confusing and unclear when it really should be so simple

The VS0160 vacuum is very strong. Within 3 seconds right before my eyes sucked all the air out of the bag too fast. Crush the a loaf of bread inside. I have to quickly press the Seal Button in the middle of the way while it hasn't finished with the suction.🐺

And the Foodsaver FM2900 doesn't have a marinade mode but does have the manual hose. What mode do I use?

Just be aware this method does not replace canning anything. If you’re not vacuum sealing dried food you must refrigerate or freeze!

I have a model VS3180 it’s about 3 years old and has worked fine up to this date. We don’t use it everyday or every month, we use the VS bags on the unit. It just stopped vacuuming through the seal area, I tried the attachment and it pulled vacuum fine. I went through all the troubleshooting instructions in the manual, I recently replaced the gaskets and it still does not vacuum the bag, what else needs to be done to get the unit back on track ?

Got my FoodSaver in Cos*%$, it was working when i tested it, ONCE…Now i wanted to vacuum seal some cookies and biscuits(for travel), its not working. It not vacuuming air out of the bag. And the sad part is i bought a box of that vacuum seal bag.

I vacuum seal my .ettu e and it lasts much longer

A brand new first time using. Won’t lock unless using a vigorous push like CPR. WONT VACUME AT ALL even though light soys it’s did. Of course support line not Open on weekend.

I have the FM2000 and the accessory hose had green tips on both ends. This video clearly shows that you need a gray tip for use with the jar lids. I was able to find out that you can order the correct accessory hose, but I am still a bit miffed that it didn't come with the appliance! I have my foodsaver set to DRY, but when I push START it switches to MOIST and sucks all the air out. What's up with that? I tried it several times.

Neither end of the hose completely fit into the foodsaver or attachment, why would that be? I push hard doesn't stay attached to foodsaver and grey end doesn't completely fit against white attachment.

My food saver vacumn doesn't even start. It obviously has some kind of electrical problem or a bad vacumn motor.......Not happy with this either. It has a learning curve for sure. Next one will be a different brand for sure
